About Us

How it began...

Of all the days to begin a business, Ray and Debbie Brown chose April 1st! No, this is not a joke. This is for real. Actually, the business did begin April 1, 2015, then closed in 2017 to prepare to move to the Pacific NorthWest to be closer to our GrandChildren. We FINALLY made that happen December 16, 2020, with the help of family and friends. Now that we're here and somewhat settled in, we're open for business and have no plans to move again!

We are a Veteran owned business located in Pendleton, Oregon. We are smoke free and pet friendly, working from dedicated space in our home.

Having served in the corporate world for many years, we have decided to prepare for and spend our retirement years creating one-of-a-kind gifts for those who enjoy gift-giving.

We own commercial embroidery equipment which can stitch items as delicate as a wedding veil to items as hearty as a car floor-mat, and practically everything in between (even toilet paper!), and our longarm is powered by Handi Quilter Forte with Pro Stitcher! Services include: Quilt repair, Longarming (In Memory, Custom, Semi-Custom,  edge-to-edge, basting, etc). Teaching, Sewing, Embroidery, 'n More! Have a custom idea? Let's talk!

We began soap making in 2022, following the passing of a dear friend who was a soap maker. She helped us develop a love of handmade soaps. We produce our soaps and shampoo and conditioner bars using the cold process method and have developed our recipes over time. We let our soaps cure for at least 4+ weeks (depending on the oil), which results in a harder and more long lasting bar without reducing its ability to produce lather.

We are always interested in your honest feedback and in your wants and desires.

While the website is under construction, feel free to contact Debbie at PendletonMade@gmail.com for a consultation about how we can help you.

We look forward to serving you,
Ray and Debbie
